LEXICON OF THE MOUTH is a performance of noise, and storytelling that examines the vocal tract as a site of the abject. Departing from the classically conditioned body-voice it employs growls, fry, inhale screams and laments among other yet-to-be-named vocal practices. Here, the oral cavity becomes a medium through which uncanny forces are summoned. The work views the mouth as a site of wonder. Its origin can be traced to nowhere. Instead, it provides a fantasy, an oral fantasy.
